The king room was equipped with air conditioning, a microwave, a coffee machine, and a private bathroom. It also had a comfy sofa and a TV. The indoor pool was nice, making it fun for family swimming. Breakfast options included freshly baked croissants and hot items. The staff were really helpful when I needed extra towels.

Came across some pretty good service - like there was this Melodee at check-in. She really got me and my wife with her friendliness, felt like I was talking to an old friend, and she even said hi to our dog! Also, the front desk staff was consistently nice throughout our stay.

We hit up the roller coasters at Lagoon amusement park and explored the Great Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. A solid choice for groups if you keep expectations in check about the age of the property.

One downside was that we needed a shower chair for my older friend, but there was only one for the whole hotel. That could be better.
